Hazard Communication in Food Industry

These modules focus on the hazards of chemicals used for disinfecting, sanitizing, and sterilizing in the food processing industry. 

The training modules were developed under a FY2018 Susan Harwood Training Materials Development Grant (grant number SH-05046-SH8) from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The training modules are available as slide decks (MS PowerPoint and accompanying script in MS Word) or videos.

The materials have been translated from English into Arabic, Burmese, Haitian Creole, Spanish, and Swahili.

Photo Booklet

The photo booklet is an additional graphic-only training aid that may be useful when training employees with limited or no literacy.
