Georgia Environmental Compliance Assistance Program (GECAP)

The Georgia Environmental Compliance Assistance Program, GECAP, is a non-regulatory program offered through Georgia Tech, providing free and confidential environmental compliance assistance to Georgia businesses. GECAP provides environmentally related technical assistance targeted to small and mid-sized companies in a manner that is accessible, useful, and understandable by:

  • “Translating” regulations
  • Being a source for environmental information
  • Providing an evaluation of a facility’s environmental compliance status

Managing Environmental Compliance Class

This 3-day course will provide participants with a better understanding of the resources available to help you decipher constantly changing environmental regulations. During this course, you’ll learn what steps to take to apply the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulations to your facility, get a better understanding of how other companies are handling their environmental issues, and learn to better protect your workplace and the environment from hazards.
